Musikmesse 2009 The third day.

The green Bussibarchen Roland from Munchen was with us today. Roland is the soul of the acoustic guitar department at Just Music in Munich and without him the whole Muhhener guitar wold would be much poorer and with far fewer Lakewood Guitars produced. When you telephone with the Bussibarchen you hear a nice greeting on the phone, but otherwise Roland is actually quite normal ... well, pretty much. What is really great ... SUngha Jung is finally in Germany. He played today on the Acoustic Stage, together with Ulli Borgerhausen, it was TOTALLY PACKED! Sungha plays so unlikely well, that one after hearing and seeing this first has to sit down very humbled. We all look forward to the concert on Saturday in Giessen. Otherwise the day was again filled with really nice people (Hello Mich und Henner!), a great contribution to our beautiful experiences.

Our stand is again the cozy Meeting Point in the heart of Acoustic Village.

See you Soon,

Yours Martin.

Musikmesse 2009 The fourth day.

Now the Show is over and I am, as every year again, a bit melancholic. On Saturday the fair was open for all visitors and traditionally we deliver a great music presentation on the Acoustic Stage and at our Stand. These persons were there: Giovanni Polombo, Meike Koester, Robert C. Blank, Ulli Bogershausen, Sungha Jung, Jade Gallagher, George Meyle and Julian Dawson. The Lakewood-stand was crowded with guests, who listened spellbound and clapped and sang along. This turned the mood in something really special, and many of them felt part of a big family, just like that.

In early evening we drove home, in anticipation of the big evening concert with Ulli Bogershausen, Alex Kabasser and Sungha Jung, our little friend and great guitar player from Korea. There were 250 guests expected, but that is another story that will be told tomorrrow.

All the best,

Yours Martin
